Margaret Coleman would be a cousin of mine. My Father, Bryan Connelly, a brother of Hugh Connolly, left the family farm in Skatra, Monaghan and moved to Glasgow as a young man. As you can see our spelling of the surname has changed, probably by accident on some official paper.
We have met Margaret Holohan and Teresa McKenna. I had no idea Teresa had a sister in the states. I have lived in Canada (Ottawa, Ontario) for over 50 years.
I am the youngest of the Connolly clan at 75. My brother, Tom, is now in Girvin, Scotland. He is 84. My sister Roseanne(Rose) is named after Jack Murphy's mother Roseanne. She just turned 80 in December. My sister Cathie, is 83. They are in the Glasgow area.
My sisters Jean and Phyllis (now deceased) lived in Skatra during the war with their Aunt Roseanne and Grandmother Connolly.
It is unfortunate that we never met Margaret Coleman. Thanks to the internet, Karin Koonz and Jack Murphy for this family information.
My sympathy to all Margaret's friends and relatives.
Sincerely, Ben Connelly
