If you want to know the true definition of commitment, just take a look at Angie's life with Nick. I was 12 years old when she married my brother. While many of my memories have faded, their wedding day has stuck with me to this day. They were in love, of course, but something more than a wedding ceremony transpired. On that day it seemed their interests, their goals melded the minute they said "I do." They seemed instantly ready - to start their remarkable journey together. And in the ensuing years, it was readily apparent that they were really serious about this marriage business. There is little doubt that Angie found her true self and her purpose in finding Nick. It became her focus to be there for him, through thick and thin. To the extent family and military demands would allow, wherever he was, she was. It was always "Nick and Ang." Our family thought of them as one unit. She was his "groupie." Ang even turned the pages of his music as he played his instruments and warded off over friendly seniors who got too close to his keyboard! Certainly, their life was not always blissful. Whose is? But Ang never, never waivered in her commitment to husband and family. She certainly taught us something about staying the course and moral strength. That is a powerful legacy to leave behind. Angie was in my life a long time. I will miss her. So will Sean.Love, Aunt Dauris
