This has been a day of remembrance as you let go of and at the same time celebrate the life of your beloved wife and mother. I remember her with great fondness and admiration, as she was so very welcoming to me and thoughtful. When I think of her, I am again struck by her beauty as a woman and as a person. She was engaging, could be stubborn and even "flighty" (though always poised), but I remember most her sense of humor and joy that she exuded. My times with the Sachs family were always marked by laughter and I was always amazed at the high level of energy that was present in our encounters. You are enfleshments of the many gifts that she gave the world and I am very thankful for the many times I was able to be with and enjoy her and all of you. While I cannot join you this day for both your farewll and celebration, I will carry you in my heart, especially at Mass today, when I pray for her and for you. God bless you and thank you for sharing the gift of her with me. Mona and I will be making a donation in her name to the Holy Rosary Mission/Red Cloud Indian School. Much love, Joe Rochelle
