Obituary of Gildo DiFulvio
Gildo DiFulvio, 67, of New Canaan, died Saturday, January 8, 2011 at his home.
Born August 21, 1943 in Fara Filiorum Petri, Italy, he was the son of the late Emilio & Maria DiFulvio.
Gildo had a generous spirit that shone upon all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Read DiFulvio of New Canaan, his son, William E. DiFulvio of Wellesley, MA, his daughter, Francesca Jones of Richmond, VA, his brother, John DiFulvio of New Canaan, and his three sisters, Serena Luberti of Stamford, Assunta Mazzola of Shaftsbury, VT and Emma Cicchini of Norwalk.
He was predeceased by his two brothers, Domenico DiFulvio and Constantino DiFulvio.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at St. Aloysius Church, New Canaan at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, New Canaan
The family will receive friends at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St. New Canaan on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 from 4-8 PM.
