Just heard of the loss of my friend of over 50 years. Will always have fond memories of Daytona Speedway vacations and hangin' out in the late 1960's before we settled down. He offerd me opportunity to go to Italy with him & friends and regret turning it down. R.I.P. my old friend.

For many years as a teacher, my diehard Saab was kept in great shape by Gildo and his brother John. He treated me like a family member on numerous occasions fixing my car on my shoestring budget. A gift of true kindness. When he learned I too was an old NC resident, talk turned to the Turkey Bowll Rams game! Rest in Peace always knowing you will be remembered Gildo

Guildo was a wonderful friend who took care of two neophyte Saab car owners (and their daughters). Always kind and understanding, we have lost a friend.

There are no words, but I would like to say how sorry I am for your loss. Tomassina always loved to tell stories of her beloved uncle, and my old high school friend has such fond memories of him while she lived in New Canaan. I wish I could have met him. May you find comfort in the many special memories shared with Gildo until you see him again someday. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

As a permament fixture in the DiFulvio home when I was grwonig up, I have so any memeories of Gildo and his family. We used to go up to his garage and pretend to drive the Saabs that were being fixed, and then go across the street to the Italian restaurant and eat pizza or pasta! I think there were Italian ices over there, too! Bill(y) and Fran were like a little brother and sister ot me, and Gildo always made me welcome at their home. I have great emeories of my time with the family, and my thought are with his family.
