Dear Rachel,Cara, Matthew, Stefan, and Andrew I was devastated to hear of your loss last week and remain stunned by the news of Marc’s untimely passing . I first met Marc in the late 80’s when he first worked with Contichem ,we shared good times in London, New York and Copenhagen, and we kept in touch over the years . I saw him last in late June this year here in Singapore where despite his busy schedule he found time for a meet up ( as he always did ). We spent a brief hour or two chatting a little on Shipping but more on both being fathers of three Boys, and what great Joy children bring to us . He was always good company, kind ,quick witted, and humble, the sun was shining, and everything felt like it should do on that day, and this is how I will chose to remember Marc Lamonte ,as one of life Good Guys smiling and laughing . I never had a chance to meet the Boys or Cara ,but Rachel I remember you with great fondness and respect from my time in New York where you helped me a lot and we always talked of you too when we met.. My Prayers are with you all at this most difficult of times. May God Keep you all in his Grace forever ,Amen.
