My dearest Whitney, Gwynn and Kim,
I am so sorry to learn only just today of your dear mother's passing. We learned of the loss of Philip DuVal by Old Faithful email, and then I checked the obits.
Your mother was such an accomplished powerhouse of a petite lady. I remember her expression when I was laughing and bellowing in her home on one occasion in the late 70's. She must have been wondering where you guys found this one!
Always the lady, always the faithful one at church. I wish I had known her much better. The regrets I have over moving us up and away from Fairfield Co. very much have to do with not seeing dear ones, and not keeping in touch.
I love you all, and my heart goes out to you. I have been orphaned for some time, but I find that I chat with my Mom and Dad, especially when something funny happens, or sometimes I feel they may be present as an angel who has just helped me in some way - even finding a parking spot.
We will all be united again with Christ, I do believe this, and please take comfort in knowing that your mom is clear now, and watching over you joyfully.
Hope we can keep in better touch.
God bless you!
Milly
