Hi Charlene, and everyone in Tessie’s family. We lived across the street from Tessie for many years on Summer Street. She spent three or four years with my kids every day watching them while I went to work. She was a big part of their lives and she cared about them very much. I just learned of her passing and I just wanted to say how sorry I am and how important she was in the life of my children, Alyssa and Anthony.

Tessie, Im so sad and heart broken that you’re gone, Im going to miss you so much. You were brought into my life when I was 2 years old and ever since that day you became part of our family. As I was one of the lucky kids that got you as a babysitter. I have always loved you since day 1 and always will. There are so many family memories with you in them from communions, conformations graduations and even my girls christening. You were always there to cheer me on and 1 thing I remember very fondly was when I was little you loved watching me dance to my videos in my living room I used to grab your hands and have you dance with me while you used to sit on the couch, you always had a big smile on your face you used to laugh and smile every time! I’m going to miss you Mema (as I called you when I was little). I love you Tessie I will

Tessie, Firstly, I am heartbroken that you are gone, but mostly I want to say thank you. I was one of the lucky kids that you helped take care of, brought into our lives when I was just months old, and you were family ever since. Over the years you were there for birthdays and holidays, first communions and confirmations, and sat front and center for graduations and even the day I walked down the aisle on my wedding day. I may not have visited as much I should have during the later years after moving away, but you were never forgotten. I will lovingly miss you telling the story of how I loved your cuddles (you know the one!), or chiding me that I always looked too skinny. I promise to have a big bowl of al dente pasta in your honor! So once more a big thank you for all the love and support, and for sticking by us when we needed it, love you
