Obituary of Grace R. Grasso
Grace R. Grasso, 94, of New Canaan passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 1, of 2021, with family by her side. Grace was a lifelong resident of New Canaan. She was the daughter of the late Antonio Grasso and Lucia Altieri Grasso.
Grace was a devoted catholic and a member of Catholic Daughters of St. Aloysius Parish.
She worked for The Hoffman Fuel company for 45 years and was dedicated to her job.
She loved and cherished her family and friends and always looked forward to spending time with them. She had a passion for gardening and kept busy with her arts and crafts. In her spare time she volunteered to many charities.
She was a kind, gentle and selfless with a heart of gold who will forever remain in our memories.
She is survived by her brother Anthony P. Grasso Sr. of New Canaan and many nieces and nephews and predeceased by her brothers John Pagliano , Leonard Pagliano, Richard Grasso and sisters Connie DeLong and Cecilia Grasso.
A visitation will take place at St. Aloysius Church located at 21 Cherry Street in New Canaan on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 10AM-11AM. Directly following the visitation will be a Mass of Christian Burial. After concluding things at St. Aloysius; the Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in New Canaan.
