It was a privilege to work with Kevin for more than 10 years.
His professionalism and ability to connect and keep his calm made him a great partner.
Kevin was always willing to hear both side of the story and gave everyone the benefit of the doubt.
He provided such great insight both professionally and personally.
Words fail to express my deep sorrow for your loss.

Flatow was our Norm...the music stopped and everyone yelled his name when he entered the room. Genuine, gregarious, selfless and simply an individual that I was blessed to know. We will miss you Kev!

Kevin supported me for over ten years at ADP in field sales and in servicing our key accounts. He made my job easier and made work more enjoyable. We had some epic moments (NCAA games and Vegas), and I will always smile remembering those times. You will certainly be missed and my condolences to the family, especially Will, who lost a cool dad.

I'm a co worker of Kevin's. When I started at True Benefit, he was my first manager and was very supportive. He was well liked by everyone at True and by our clients. Some of my best memories of Kevin is calling him about work stuff and him being in the car with Will. We'd talk shop on speakerphone then pivot over to where they were heading (hockey, Mom's house, coming from golf) and what they were up to for the rest of the day or the weekend. You could tell they were best buds. He will be so missed by many.

I am so very sorry for you loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and his son who I know he loved so much. I just found out today that Kevin passed and I am in absolute shock and disbelief. Kevin and I worked closely together for just over 6 years at Health Net. I supported Kevin in his role as an Account Executive. We worked so great together and when we would start getting stressed and butt heads, Kevin would say "It's time to get a drink!" and we would go to a local bar in Shelton and just vent and soon completely forget why we were upset with each other.
I remember when he found out his wife was pregnant and he was just over the moon. I always knew Kevin would be a great dad the way he talked about his nieces and nephews.
Again, I am so very sorry for you loss.

Coach Flatow was behind the bench for both of my boy's hockey teams. The experience of winning a state championship last year in Pee Wee B no doubt will be among the most meaningful of Hugh's childhood. That was an elite coaching staff that brought out the best in those young men -- teaching hard work, accountability, comradery. It is clear that hockey played a big role in Kevin's life and that he conveyed the love for the sport to the next generation. We offer our deepest condolences and reflect on his loss with great appreciation for how he shared his time with others. Thank you Coach!!!

Flatow family, I am so sorry for your loss. Me and my brothers were friends with Kevin since High School. We have very fond memories of our time with him. I know how much Kevin loved and cherished Will, everytime we saw each other we would start by talking about our kids and how blessed we were. His smile and love for life was infectious and he will be missed by the many friends who loved him.

Our family had the privilege of getting to know Kevin while he was a coach on our Pee Wee B DYHA hockey team (2019-20). He brought a smile and a positive energy that was felt by all. A real competitor who loved to win, he loved his son and other players even more. He always had a kind word of encouragement for all of the kids. It was a magical year for all of us, ending with a championship with a can-do attitude. Our son is a better person for having been around Coach Kevin and our crazy hockey-community will forever miss him. It is soul crushing to lose a Good One. Our love is with all of his family and will always be.

Kevin’s FIGHTING SHOE hockey family will continue to play with him on our team...and circle up for beers after each skate for a cheers in his honor. Kevin always brought a smile to our faces and Kevin was a hard working winning hockey player. As seen below only weeks ago Kevin helped us hoist another piece of championship hardware . We miss you buddy!

Everyone one of us found ourselves living a life on the power play just by being in your presence. We all shared an indescribable feeling when you were in a room; cracking jokes, telling us about your little man - of how proud you are to be a dad, and just the sound of your laugh was enough to make us all smile or laugh. All of us are forever positively impacted by your words, compassion and love. Our team, (loved ones, friends, and family) are on a penalty; we’re a man down. In time, we will get to even strength; because penalties don’t last forever. And in during our time at even strength, we will share stories, cry a little, laugh, and love, and comfort one another because of how much you mean to all of us. And at this time, our team (loved ones, family and friends) will forever be on the power play- you will forever be with us.
- Love Al & The Birds
