Very sorry to hear of Mark's passing. I met Mark at MSG and can tell you he was truly a gentle soul. Mark always took the time to give a friendly "hello" either in word or with his uniquely bold smile. Tender affection goes out to the DuBrock family. Revelation 21:3,4.

Unbelievably sad. From the perspective of a fellow Maine South 1994 alum, Mark was one of “the good guys”—a hard worker, mature beyond his years, and always looking out for the little guy. Really got to know him during the Constitution Team national competition in Washington, DC.
“We are reminded that, in the fleeting time we have on this Earth, what matters is not wealth, or status, or power, or fame, but rather how well we have loved and what small part we have played in making the lives of other people better.”
Thanks, Mark. You made me better.

Deeply saddened and shocked to know about this ultimately incident. Mark was a good friend and someone I had a pleasure working and knowing him more as a friend than a client. Had interacted with Emily and she is a phenomenal lady. Mark was super nice and him and me shared multiple interests and he will be really missed. I pray and may the almighty give Emily and kids the strength to cope with this irreparable loss in their life. God bless you and very saddened indeed.

I appreciated how he balanced his empathy and positivity with grit, hard work and dedication. Even though I was only a colleague of Mark for a few years, he left a positive and motivating impression on me. This is truly a monumental loss that will not be forgotten. Mark was a true friend to many people, a loving husband to only one, a dedicated father to four beautiful children, a devoted son and son-in-law, a loyal brother and brother-in-law as well as a brilliant engineer to many successful businesses. I distinctly remember standing next to Mark on the sideline during the final regular season game of our senior football season. We had played next to each other on the offensive line throughout that year and were quite pleased with ourselves as we pummeled Maine West on a frigid Friday night. Mark was a bright, decent, funny person and I am glad to have called him a friend and teammate. My deepest condolences to his family and to all who knew and loved him. Jim Carroll

Mark was an all around great guy, he was always kind. We coached flag football together and he was patient with the children, instead of calling complex plays he would say "do you want to run to the parking lot side, or the tree side?" so they would feel comfortable. He had a great large smile and was easy going. I had some of the most fun coaching with him that year, we won the Super Bowl but we focused on the kids having fun. He was a Chicago Bears fan and I have him in my phone as "Ditka Dubrock" for his coaching skills. Mark always made everyone feel welcome and loved his children so much. Someone recently asked him how his baby daughter is doing, as he has a newborn. Mark responded "which one? I have three of them." My heart breaks for his family and he was gone far too soon. Literally the last thing he said to me was "not for nothing man, but you should be proud of yourself", he was complimenting me on the decision to start my own business. He was a legend. This one hurts, and we will all miss him dearly....

Coach Mark DuBrock was great guy and a great leader in our community. He was very special to our Wilton Football League, a great mentor for our young kids to look up to. We will miss him greatly this football season and every football season in the future. We prey that his family stays strong through this incredibly tough time. The DuBrock's have hundreds of coaches and players that are all here to support your family in any way we can. We will help all of you find the strength to get through this and we will help you keep a smile on your face while doing it. Coach DuBrock was such a happy and positive guy, I know he would want us all to celebrate his life and the times we got to spend with him. Thats exactly what I intend to do! Go get some victories coaching Football and then take a look up at Coach DuBrock to share a big smile with him. RIP Coach Mark DuBrock
