I met Mike at Fairfield University, he was a fellow marketing major and in most of my classes. I remember him as a kind, fun person, quite funny and smart with his sassy comebacks. I always smiled when i saw him. Makes me smile right now. Sending my love to his family. Until we meet again,
Tata Herrero, FU class of 1982.

As a distant yet devoted member of St. Marks, I met and enjoyed Mike's fellowship on the Camino Trip of 2016. Always a stalwart hiker and good spirit every day, all of us felt a kinship with Mike at the end of that short week. My thoughts and prayers go out to Nancy and the family for this sudden loss. Gone too soon but absolutely not forgotten.
With kind regards,
Peter Daniel

I met Mike 2 1/2 years ago as he joined Next Gen Nutrition Investment Partners. He shared our vision to create a genuinely different and advantaged investment firm that focused on foods and beverages that are both healthier for people and better for the planet.
Mike's role was an important one in the founding and crafting of our first fund. In addition to the finance responsibilities, he was a voice of expertise on the fund's set up, always acting as expert counsel to my partner Jim Cali and I. We trusted his knowledge, integrity and clear voice of reason.
It was clear to us that Mike was also a strong family man. He talked of his kids, was excited about April's upcoming wedding, and was proud of his wife and her work.
We miss Mike. He was a terrific guy who didn't mince words and got the job done.
