Both Stamford's Catholic War Veterans and the Stamford veterans community will sorely miss Ted.He was an honored member of Stamford's veteran's community who recently served as a Parade Marshall for Stamford's Memorial Day parade. Ted was a valuable member of Stamford's Veterans of Foreign War's and of Stamford's Polish community. As a member of the greatest generation and as a WWII veteran Ted served his country admirably and with dignity using his unique talents as a aircraft crew chief and mechanic. Personally, I am losing a dear friend as and as I mourned the loss of his son Mark, I will also miss Ted, especially his wealth of stories of the WWII era aircraft he worked on and of his experiences in the Army Air Force in WWII. I will keep Ted and his family in my thoughts and prayers.
