Paul F. Langevin, age 63, a Norwalk resident for over 37 years died Saturday January 3, 2009 in Yale-New Haven Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Stamford, CT, January 25, 1945, he was the son of the late William and Elizabeth Dennert Langevin. Paul was the husband of Pamela Stradinger Langevin. Mr. Langevin was a US Air Force Veteran. He was an electrician in the IBEW Local 3 who recently retired after 40 years of service. In addition to his wife survivors include one son, William Langevin of Stamford; two daughters, Michele Blair and her husband Julian of Patterson, NY, and Catherine Emerick and her husband Brian of Southbury, CT, one Brother, Kenneth Langevin of Pittsburg, PA, and two grandchildren Kyle Emerick and Aaron Emerick. He was pre-deceased by a brother Walter Langevin A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 10:00 Am in St. Joseph Church, South Norwalk, with interment to follow in Long Ridge Union Cemetery, Stamford. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 4 to 8 pm at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main Street New Canaan.
