Obituary of Anne Cobb
Anne Lucia (Nancy) Cobb, 80, died peacefully at Stamford Hospital on Friday morning October 28, 2011 surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy was born in Long Island, NY on May 16, 1931. She was predeceased by her parents, Don and Anne Pendas; her husband George Rexford Cobb; 3 children B. Cobb, George Rexford, Jr., Mary Dreyer; and son-in-law Jeffrey Dreyer. Nancy is survived by her cousin Marie Anita Severin; her daughter Anita Cobb and son-in-law Neil Budnick of New Canaan, CT; sons Joseph and Daniel of Concord, NH; grandchildren Russell and his wife Ashley, Rory, Jane, and Anne Budnick; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A longtime resident of Stamford, CT, Nancy wintered in Ajijic, Mexico, where she leaves behind many devoted friends. The family will receive visitors at Hoyt Funeral Home (199 Main Street in New Canaan, CT) from 4 to 6 Saturday, October 29.
A memorial mass will take place in Ajijic, Mexico. A private burial will follow at the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown, CT.
