I had the pleasure of first working with Nick @ The St. Paul. I was so impressed with his willingness and desire to reach out to so many people in the organization - regardless of level - to seek their input. His intellectual curiosty was contagious and he was an inspiration to many. He will be missed but the impact he had on so many lives will carry on.
My thoughts and prayers are with Nick's family during these difficult times.

Dear Brown Family: My heart is heavy with sorrow for your loss, and I know that the Lord will get you all through this in time. If there is anything any of us can do to make it easier just let us know. I know I can speak for Jon and Robert and Steve when I say that in the relative short times we have spent with you and your extended family(Marasco/Brown) that your love for one another was evident and is to be treasured and may that love now serve to give all some solace. The great love your family shares, Kathy is a credit to both you and to beloved Nick. Your blessings are many and may they continue. Nicks' biography speaks eloquently to his accomplishments, business, charitable and personal and it should serve as a lesson to all of us. May we all continue to learn and especially our children and grand children, by the example that Nick set, which is success and great men are remembered by how they lead their lives and were able to help others. It would appear that Nick had the corner "market" on setting the example for both being successful and charitale. He gave unselfishly himself to family and friends alike and always extending his expertise, wisdom and good fortune to better others. I, personally will remember his great wit and clever sense of humor which was always evident. Nick, you will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved you and by those that still did not have the distinct pleasure of meeting and getting to know you and learn from you. Nick you were a very successful man but your true legacy lies in your passion for life to the very end and generousity of spirit to all who knew you. May you continue your great work now from a slightly different perspective. To you Kathy, know that even though over the last several years I have not been in close contact with you that I am still here for you. You were always a wonderful friend who, like your husband, had great wit a sense of humor and a generous spirit. If I can do anything to help you, despite your big wonderful family, you can call me. You can give them a break and let me pick up some of the burden. I beleive that is what friends do and I want to be a friend. With Much Sorrow, Geri, Steve, Jonathan, and Robert
