Obituary of Elizabeth Christoffers
Mrs. Elizabeth H. Christoffers, formerly of New Canaan, CT, died peacefully in her sleep on the afternoon of September 22, 2008 at the Waveny Care Center of New Canaan. Born in Philadelphia in 1914 she was 94 years old. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Menuhin, and her sons, Richard Christoffers and Stephen Christoffers. She also leaves her five grandchildren, Cort Christoffers, Brett Christoffers, Keith Christoffers, Katie Christoffers and Aaron Menuhin, as well as three great grandchildren.
There will be no wake or calling hours. A graveside ceremony will be held at Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Ave. in Norwalk on Saturday, September 27th at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Planned Parenthood of Connecticut, 345 Whitney Ave., New Haven, CT 06511.
