Frank J. LaDestro Jr., 59, of New Canaan, passed away on September 18, 2008 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born on July 8, 1949 in Stamford to Frank J. LaDestro Sr. and Margaret Corello LaDestero of New Canaan.

Besides his parents, Mr. LaDestro is survived by a brother, Stephen LaDestro of Bridgeport, CT, and a sister, Theresa Finnegan of New Canaan. He was also a second father to nephews Stephen, Jason, and Jeremy and nieces Jessica and Nicole.

A memorial service will be held on Monday September 29, 2008, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 471 Mansfield Ave., Darien at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the family.
