Curt was my classmate at SUNY Farmingdale 1984-1985 and later my roomate at RPI 1986-1988. I am so shocked to hear of his passing. He was a person of infinite fun and laughter. I will miss him. I am sorry that I didn't keep in touch with him as I would have liked to. He was a good man. May God Bless his wife and daughters.

Many thoughts and feelings at the sudden, sad news of Curt's death. We offer prayers for his girls and wife Ann - may you find eventual comfort and peace in your many fond memories together. From his first days at JCI, I remember Curt's friendly demeanor, his genuine sincerety and his steely resolve (I will never forget his trip to Germany at the fall of the 'Wall' and his return with samples for a new business venture). He was bold yet kind; determined yet approachable - proof that nice guys do not finish last.

I worked with Curt on the PCNY Cogeneneration Project in NYC for almost two years. Curt was always optomistic and always had a smile on his face even when things were not going right with the project. You get to know a person while working so close and one thing is certain that he loved his family very deeply. He would talk about their vacations and what he had planned to do with them over ever weekend. Words cannot express the symphany I have in my heart for your great loss. But know this that your Husband/Dad will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

While we've never met, we have a lot in common. On June 24th, my wife Beth died suddenly and my youngest son Dylan was on your daughter Christina's team at Saxe. We are also a big skiing family. I'm so sorry for your loss but can share in the pain you are feeling right now. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

To the entire Gehnrich Family: I had the privilege of working with Curt on a Cogeneration Project in NYC over the last 3 years. As we talked often, I found out a lot about what Curt liked, what he did not like, his faith and most importantly the love he had for his family. I can’t imagine the world without Curt, but I know that he is now with our LORD JESUS CHRIST.
May GOD now share his Grace with the entire Gehnrich family as they deal with the sudden loss of Curt.
