Dearest Pat & Family, Our Heartfelt saddness is with all of you. Woody was a GREAT guy who did all of you very proud. He shall always have a very special place in my Heart (San) for the support he gave me through a very difficult time back in 2004. Having most recently (loss of our Son, Troy) the following days will be very difficult. Your Hearts are broken forever, but you have some wonderful memories that we know will sustain in the days to come. You gave him the best gift possible, he died at home. Being a Nurse, I know the care and love he was given. No better place then Home. What a credit he was to Life and to his profession. With all our love, Rit/San .

Dear Pat, Kimmy,Kelly and the entire Wood family,
We were deeply saddened to hear of your loss. We were always supportive of Woody and took comfort in knowing he was lees then 100 yards from our home of 24 years. We always enjoyed his sense of humor and his support of our girls when they played basketball and other sports together. Vista and New Canaan has lost a loyal, caring and friendly face. We will all miss him dearly.
We are sorry we were unable to stop by Hoyts. We are currently out of the country.jl

pat:
i was so saddened to read of steves passing. my condolences to you and your family. i knew steve through the ncpd and had many memerable times. riding with steve was always an adventure especially when we had ex along. steve was a special person and i am sure his path to the lord will be an easy one. along that path he will encounter a furry friend as he passes the rainbow bridge. remember the good times of which i am sure there were many. god bless you and your family

Pat, Kim and Kelly- How sorry I am to hear of Woody's passing. I have many memories of days in the gym at John Jay coaching volleyball with Kim and Kelly on the team and Pat and Woody in the stands. I'll remember his distinctive "turkey call" cheering us on. He was all that is good, and he gave that attitude to everyone around him. God bless him and his family.

Although we did not know Woody as well as some, we know from all the hilarious stories from Robin that he was a breath of fresh air to everyone who came into contact with him. Without his smile, his lighthearted banter and his silly escapades, this world is a desolate place right now for his family and friends. Woody represented all the BEST qualities - he genuinely cared for everyone around him, always had a positive thought to share, always had a smile on his face (despite anything he was hiding inside), and continued to brighten the day of anyone he came in contact with. My heartfelt sympathy for The Wood family. What a great loss for all who knew him and those who loved him. The sorrow I feel for all of the family can not be expressed enough. I will miss my dear friend Woody very much.Thankfully,he is not suffering anymore and he is at peace. I will miss his terrific sence of humor and his laughter.He certainly fought the battle with such courage and unbelievable strengh, but that was Woody.
