Obituary of Geraldine Sprouls
Geraldine C. Sprouls, 84, of New Canaan, died Monday, April 25, 2011 at her home.
Born October 2, 1926 in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Daniel & Elizabeth Black Mullins.
She was survived by her husband William A. Sprouls of New Canaan, her daughter, Sharon Doughty and her husband Ken, of Stratford, CT, her son, Daniel W. Sprouls and his wife Joan of West Haven, CT, and her sister, Virginia Miller of Charlestown, RI. Her two grandchildren, Jennifer, Timothy and his wife Cindy also survive.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, in Stratford. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull.
The family will receive friends at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St. New Canaan on Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 4-8 PM.
