Susanne T. Braccia, age 78, a lifelong New Canaan resident died Thursday evening December 12, 2013 at Norwalk Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in New Canaan, April 1, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Rossi Taddeo. Susanne was the wife of the late Tony Braccia. She enjoyed entertaining and caring for her family. Susanne is survived by her two sons, Joseph Braccia and his wife Kimberly of Fairfield, CT Christopher Braccia and his wife Alicia of Heathrow, FL and two grandchildren Matthew A. Braccia and Kendall A. Braccia. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her sister, Lucy Fayad, and her brothers, Joseph, Daniel, and Fred. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at 11:00 Am at St Aloysius Church, Cherry Street, New Canaan, CT Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Norwalk the family will receive friends on Monday from 4 to 8 PM at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main Street., New Canaan, CT In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St Jude’s Children Hospital or the charity of one’s choice.
