Obituary of Ethel White
Ethel Henry White, 98, recently of New Canaan, CT, formerly of Brick, NJ and New York City, and longtime resident of Stuyvesant Town died Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at Stamford Hospital with her family at her side.
Born and raised in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Michael F. and Daisy Burke Henry.
Mrs. White was survived by many loving nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces and her sister-in-law, Helen White.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 30, 2010, at 11:30 AM at Saint John Roman Catholic Church in Darien, CT. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, New Canaan, CT.
The family will receive friends at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St., New Canaan, CT, on Friday, October 29, 2010, from 5-8 PM.
