Obituary of Jean Siefke
Jean Carroll Siefke, 91, of New Canaan, CT, and South Salem, NY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 4th. She was born in White Plains, NY, to the late James and Louise Carroll. She attended Connecticut College and Katharine Gibbs School before starting a career in radio advertising. Married since 1959 to Frederick Van Dyke Siefke, she enjoyed travel, volunteering, and spending time with her family and friends.
Her beloved brother, Jimmy Carroll, predeceased her. She is survived by her loving husband; her daughter, Marjorie Siefke, of London, UK; her daughter, Madeline, and son-in-law, Matthew Estill, of Ithaca, NY; grandchildren, Caroline, Charlie, and Peter Estill; and many nieces and nephews.
