Obituary of Mary Thomas
Mary Belding Thomas, 96, of New Canaan, died Tuesday, May 18 2010 at Brighton Gardens of Camarillo, CA.
Born October 5, 1913 in Chance Harbour, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Alma Trafton Belding.
She was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church in New Canaan.
She is survived by her two sisters, Gladys Rosien of Camarillo, CA and Ruth Ryder of Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred Thomas.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Lakeview Cemetery, New Canaan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the First Congregational Church, 23 Park St. New Canaan, CT 06840.
Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St. New Canaan, is in charge of arrangements.
