My sincerest condolences on the passing of Mr. Perschino. I had the good fortune of attending Tokeneke School from kindergarten through sixth grade while he was the principal. He made it a warm and completely enjoyable place to go to school. I especially enjoyed the Friday afternoon Share assemblies.

If the best thing you can give your children is "A Happy Childhood", Ralph helped to make it one for my three. They all enjoyed Tokeneke and had a great "schooling".
He made it a happy experience for parents too. Under Ralph's leadership, everbody benefited and good feelings prevailed.
Please accept my family's deep sympathy. He will be sorely missed.

Dearest Gloria,
Sending you my deepest condolences for the loss of this special gentleman. I treasure the memories of our visits at the Bissell counter over the years. The world is dimmer without the twinkle in his eye that he shared so freely. Much love to you and your family- Always, Nora

My memories of Mr. Perschino are so wonderful and positive. He was like a great umpire; willing to listen and be fair but always in control. I also remember seeing him in the 90s at the antique store he owned and being so thrilled I had run into him again. Such a lovely and peaceful soul. Im moving to Brooklyn soon and if his daughter Susan is still there itd be great to connect with her again.
RIP Mr. Petschino. You have always been the perfect example of a principal to me.

My heart sunk when I saw this. Mr. Perschino was hands down a remarkable principal. Tough if he needed to be but a teddy bear underneath. He always made you feel like one of his own that just a student. He touched so many lifes and I am honored to say he crossed my lifes path and that famous silver dollar. Condolences to all his family and may he Rest In Peace. The heavens surely received a angel.

Holding Mr. Perschino in the light.
I feel immensely fortunate to have attended kindergarten through sixth grade at Tokeneke with a mensch like Mr. Perschino at the helm. I am grateful for the moral tone he set for the school and each one of us.
