Joseph Valeo, died Friday May 7, 2010 at home in Wilton. Born in Plandome, NY January 1, 1917 he was the son of the late Anthony and Eugenia Peta Valeo. Joseph was the husband of the late Helen Novinski Valeo. Formerly from Roslyn, Long Island he was retired and had worked for many years as the Vice-President of Construction for Wagner Pool Company. He had served in the US Army. Survivors include his son, Allan Valeo and his wife Julie of Wilton, CT Six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive In addition to his wife he was predeceased by a son Robert. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday , May 10, 2020 at 10:00AM at St Aloysius Church, Cherry Street, New Canaan, Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4pm to 8 pm at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, New Canaan.
