When I was a little girl, my father held my hand as we sat on the porch looking at the night sky. He told me when someone we love dies, they become a star in the heavens and that whenever we miss them, all we have to do is look up and say hello. I was five and my grandfather had just died.
Surely, Jack your star will shine forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved you. I will look up and say hello with a big smile remembering the wonderful times I shared with you and Marion at Colleen and Garys and the special dinner at my house not that long ago. What fun, what laughter, what great stories of our ethnic roots and the discovery of your playing golf with a childhood friend of mine. It doesnt get any better than that. quality people, fantastic food and lots of good wine. What a lucky family to have such a class-act for a dad..
Much love to my special friend, Colleen, and your familymay the clear night sky send many comforting hellos. Claudia Rein
