Eugene (Mickey) Roche, Sr. Eugene (Mickey) Roche Sr., age 85, A lifelong resident of Wilton, CT died Thursday April 22, 2010 In Norwalk Hospital. Born in Wilton, CT, November 7, 1924 he was the son of the late Eugene A. and Edna Walbauer Roche. Mickey was predeceased by his wife Jean Lawrence Roche in 1987. A WW 2 US Army Veteran, he was the owner and operator of his family business Roche Refuse Company which was founded by his father. He was a member of the VFW ( New Canaan Chapter), Howard M. Bossa # 653 and the New Canaan Old Timers. Survivors include his son, Eugene J. Roche, Jr and his wife Jenna of Weston, CT 4 daughters, Georgena Cole and her husband James of Wilton, Claudia Bennett and her husband Tom also of Wilton, and Heidi Breckheimer of Madison, CT and Elizabeth Peters and her husband Matt of Franklin, Mass. 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild also survives. In addition to his wife he was pre-deceased by sisters, Dorothy Tiani, Edna Duval, and Jeanette Corson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 26, 2010 at 10:00 Am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Danbury Road Wilton Interment will be held in Lakeview Cemetery, New Canaan with full military honors .
