Dear Dorothy and family
It was a privilege for me to be considered a friend of Jim "Frenchy" French. His special way of dealing with people made him special to everyone who had the good fortune to meet him. He was full of love and good cheer and his enthusiasm was contagious. My life has been enriched for having the wonderful opportunity to have had many breakfasts with him and the guys at Tonys deli. I hope his smiling face is among those who greet me when and if I'm lucky enough to enter the gates of heaven! God bless Frenchy!

My Dad Anthony Russo who lived in New Canaan his entire life was a stone mason. He spoke about Mr. French frequently and the two seemed to enjoy their association. My Dad left us 6 years ago, but no doubt welcomed Jim to his new home. We will keep you all in our prayers.
