Jacqueline C. Bradley, age 81, a resident of New Canaan for over 60 years died peacefully Saturday March 25, 2017 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Long Branch, NJ March 6, 1936 she was the daughter of the late John Rose and Marion Holmes Rose. She was the wife of Victor L. Bradley, Sr her childhood sweetheart, to whom she was married for over 55 years. Jacqueline attended New Canaan high school joining the class of 1954 in her senior year and she received a scholarship to attend Monmouth College of Nursing. For over 50 years she cared for patients of all ages in a variety of nursing settings. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, and watching the New York Mets and the UConn Women's basketball team. Her greatest joy was spending time with family, especially her granddaughter. In addition to her husband, Jacqueline is survived by her son Victor L Bradley, Jr ( Sabina) and their daughter Hazel Rose of Boston, MA A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11:00AM at the First Presbyterian Church, Oenoke Ridge., New Canaan.
