Obituary of Peter Luster
Peter Ruyl Luster of New Canaan, CT died on October 26, 2016 at his home, after a long and courageous fight against stage four melanoma cancer.
A son of Polly R. Luster and Carl J. Luster, he was born on August 8, 1958 in Stamford, CT. He is survived by his sister Gay, his brothers David and Carl, Jr and his mother Polly, as well as his nephews Alex and James Sawabini, his nieces Polly Sawabini, Charlotte Luster and Heather Luster and his grand nephew Connor. Peter spent many years in the southeast where he enjoyed the climate and the people. He adored his family and many friends. Peter was an avid fisherman.
There will be a gathering of family and friends to have a celebration of his life at the Redding Roadhouse in Redding, CT on Saturday, November 5th at 4pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Peter’s memory can be made to the Whittingham Cancer Center at Norwalk Hospital.
