Life Legacy
Jose Roberto Crespi, Sr., 69, of Weston, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 4, 2016, with his loving family by his side after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. He was the husband of Cira (Montoya) Crespi.
Jose was born on January 26, 1947 in Puerto Rico, son of the late Jose and Ramona (Munoz-Butler) Crespi He moved from Puerto Rico to New York City at the age of nineteen and proudly served in the United States Army.
Besides his loving wife Cira, Jose is survived by a daughter, Maryliam Crespi of New York City, two sons, Robert Crespi and his wife Debra of Weston, CT, Edgar Crespi and his wife Jennifer of Weston, CT, sisters Myriam Lafosse and her husband Joe, Elsa Ortiz and her husband Jesus and Ida Segarra and her husband Marcos, and four adoring grandchildren, Joshua, Sabrina, Ethan and Emerson.
Calling hours will be held from 1:00pm – 4:00pm, Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St., New Canaan, CT with a prayer service at 3:00pm. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
