Mrs. Lori (Rosa) Schutte, 54, of New Canaan, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at her home. She was the loving wife of Keith A. Schutte whom she adored. Lori was born in Stamford on February 1, 1962, daughter of Dominick Rosa, Jr. and the late Rose Marie (Thompson) Rosa. She was formerly a teacher at the New Day Care Center of New Canaan where she loved and cared for all the children that she taught. These children became an extension of Lori’s family. Her love and dedication to the children she cared for spoke of Lori’s genuine love for all she knew. Of all that knew her, all knew of Lori’s great love for the holidays. From pumpkin carving at Halloween to her beloved Christmas , which she celebrated all year round. But most of all, her love and devotion to her family was endless. Besides her husband Keith, Lori is survived by her father, Dominick Rosa, Jr. of New Canaan, two brothers, Dominick Rosa III and his wife Michelle of Northboro, MA and Michael Rosa and his wife Joanne of New Canaan, a sister Leighann Capomolla and her husband Joe of New Canaan, a father-in-law Edward M. Jamroga, Jr., three brothers-in-law Mark L. Schutte and his wife Lori of Danbury, Charles A. Schutte, Jr. and his wife Rose of Ridgefield and Kyle W. Schutte and his wife Deborah of Southbury, a sister-in-law Wanda L. Leavy and her husband Don of Ridgefield and many nieces and nephews who lovingly referred to her as “Lala”. Besides her mother, Rose she was predeceased by her father-in-law Charles A. Schutte, Sr. and her mother-in-law Edith M. Jamroga. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Monday August 1, 2016 at St. Aloysius Church, 23 Cherry St., New Canaan, CT. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00pm-6:00pm at Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St., New Canaan.
