Obituary of Grant Lynch
Grant Robert Lynch, 55, passed away June 8, 2016 at his Trumbull, CT home after his 4 year long battle with ALS. His loving and devoted Wife of 23 years, Lynne Ann (Boyd) Lynch, was at his side.
Grant was born in Grosse Pointe, MI on January 29, 1961. He grew up in Stamford, CT where he attended Westhill High School and later Fairfield University. Lynne and Grant were married on September 25, 1993 and have lived in Trumbull ever since. Grant enjoyed a successful career as a Network Specialist with Waldenbooks, Hitachi Computer, MCI at NASDAQ, EAC Network Integrators and was with Affinion Group in Trumbull for the past 16 years. For a time he was a member of the Trumbull Republican Town Committee and served as a Trumbull Board of Finance alternate. He was a lifelong birdwatcher who enjoyed building birdhouses. Grant was an avid New York Giants, Mets and NASCAR fan. But most of all he enjoyed vacations with Lynne, including annual family trips to Cape Cod.
Grant is predeceased by his Father Robert Lynch, his Brother James Lynch, and baby Sister Maria. In addition to his Wife, Lynne, Grant is survived by;
His Mother Anne (Baumann) Lynch, Brother Douglas Lynch, his Wife Kathleen, and their Children MaryCatherine and Olivia (Goddaughter).
Aunt Margaret "Peggy" Silsby (Godmother), Uncle John Baumann (Godfather), Aunt Jean Baumann, Uncle James Baumann, Aunt Laurie Toeplitz, and Uncle Richard Toeplitz.
Cousin Christopher Toeplitz, his Wife Christine, and their Children Avery, Paige, and Henry. Other Cousins William Toeplitz, Allison Lynch, Charles Lynch, and Kevin Lynch.

In-laws Richard Boyd, Sherry Boyd and their Children Shannon and Wally. Brother-in-law William Boyd, Sister-in-law Susan (Boyd) Barati, her Husband Andrew, and their Children Danielle and Madalyn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday June 13, 2016 at 11:00 Am in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Avenue, Trumbull, CT. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends on Sunday at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St, New Canaan from 1 to 5 pm.
