Obituary of Eric Enquist
ERIC HARRY ENQUIST
Eric Harry Enquist, a life-long New Canaan resident, passed away at the Norwalk Hospital on February 14th. He was 91 years old.
Harry graduated from New Canaan High School in 1936. He then spent many years employed at Yankee Metal and Clover Manufacturing in Norwalk as a shipping manager.
An avid sports fan, Harry was particularly active in golf and bowling.
He is survived by his sister, Elsie Enquist Cyr and eight nieces and nephews: Judith Cyr Cody of New Canaan, Ken Cyr of Ridgefield, Marilee Cyr of Gilsum, NH, Gary Cyr of Alamo, CA, Debra Cyr of Livermore, CA, Ken Enquist of Patterson, NY, Dick Enquist of Ridgefield, CT, and Janet Enquist Dillon of New Port Richey, FL.
His brother Charles predeceased him.
Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, New Canaan is handling funeral arrangements. Calling hours will be 10AM-Noon on Friday, February 19th followed by a funeral service at the funeral home, burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
