Obituary of Margaret Hamilton
Margaret Edgar Hamilton, age 74 of Wilton, Ct formerly of New Canaan died Tuesday evening October 27, 2015 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Elderslie, Scotland, June 22, 1941 she was the daughter of the late John and Annie Caig Edgar.
Margaret enjoyed Scottish highland dancing for most of her life and her Saturday morning outings with friends. She worked for many years for the Tandett Center, part of the Stamford Healthcare System.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Nichole Connery and her husband Todd of Enfield, CT, a brother Bobby Edgar of Palm Coast, FL. and four granddaughters, Shannon, Meghan, Kaitlyn and Erin. She is also survived by her longtime companion Thomas Beddington. Margaret also leaves behind three furbabies, Hadley, Harris, and Hailey.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am in the Congregational Church of New Canaan this Saturday Nov. 14, 2015
The Hoyt Funeral Home, New Canaan is in charge of the arrangements.
