Anne Marsden Smith Clow


Passed away peacefully on January 18th at the Waveny Care Center in New Canaan, Connecticut. Mrs. Clow was a long-time resident of Rowayton. Born in Richmond, Virginia in 1919, she was the oldest of three daughters born to Marsden C. and Sarah I. Smith. She later moved to NewYork City, where she met and married L. Peter Clow. Mrs. Clow is survived by her niece and nephew-in-law, Sally and Mark Poulsen of Mason Neck, Virginia and their two children. She was predeceased by her husband and two sisters, Sarah I. Lynch and Elizabeth Seibert. A memorial service and internment will be held at a later date.


The Hoyt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 199 Main Street New Canaan has charge of arrangements.
