Obituary of Valerie Blasius
Valerie S. Blasius, age 69, a lifelong New Canaan resident died peacefully Wednesday morning April 22, 2015 in Norwalk Hospital. Born in Norwalk, CT June 12, 1945, she was the daughter of Harriett Weed Schutte of New Canaan and the late George W. Schutte.
She had worked many years as a legal secretary.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her loving daughter, Valerie Gesualdi and her husband Don and their daughter Ava Marie Gesualdi of New Canaan.
And her siblings Paul Schutte of Centreville, VA and Janet Schutte of New Canaan
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday , April 27, 2015 at 10:00Am at St Aloysius Church Cherry Street, New Canaan with interment to follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, New Canaan, CT on Sunday from 1:00pm to 5:00PM
