Audrey Kathryn Bouton, 80, of New Canaan, CT passed away on April 8th , 2015 at Norwalk Hospital with her loving family by her side. Audrey was born on December 25th, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Joseph and Lucy Pierro Genovese. Audrey moved to New Canaan with her family at 15. She was very active in school and was secretary of her class. She met Howard Bouton and married the love of her life in 1954. They were happily married for 37 years until his death in 1991. Audrey loved being social and most family gatherings were held at her house. She was always happy out in her garden planting flowers and vegetables. Audrey is survived by her five daughters, Debra Lyon, Gail Tubridy and Janice Bouton, all of New Canaan, Kathryn Gilleaudeau of Stamford and Pamela Haas of Wilton. Audrey is also survived by eight grandchildren, Camden and Lindsey Lyon, Ali Tubridy, Ryan and Taylor Gilleaudeau, Vicky, Clarissa and Brooke Haas as well as two great grandchildren Jayden Lyon and Marley Haas. Also surviving Audrey is her brother Joseph Richard Genovese of Montana. The family will receive friends at Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main St, New Canaan, CT on Monday, April 13, 2015 from 9:00am – 10:30am. A funeral Service will follow at the Funeral Home at 10:30am, with the burial to follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
