Obituary of Ann Vissicchio
Ann R. Vissicchio, age 95, of New Canaan, CT died Wednesday April 8, 2015 at her daughter’s home with her loving family by her side. Born in New York City March 19, 1920, she was the daughter of the late William and Louise DelGuidice Renna. Ann was the widow of Andrew J. Vissicchio who died in 1996.
Ann is survived by her two sons, Andrew J. Vissicchio and his wife Patricia of Boca Raton, FL, William D. Vissicchio and his wife Linda of Pooler, GA one daughter, Diane DeVito and her husband Mickey of Stamford, CT, one sister, Grace L. Renna of Stamford, 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a brother Francis Renna.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday April 11, 2015 at 10:30Am at St Matthews Church, 216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk, CT with entombment to follow in St John’s Mausoleum, in Darien, CT. The family will receive friends at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, New Canaan, Saturday before the Mass from 8:30 AM to 10:00.
