Barbara A. Calitri of Wilton, CT, age 64, entered into eternal repose July 9, 2013 at Norwalk Hospital with her loving son and mother at her side. Born In Stamford, CT, April 22, 1949 she was the daughter of Ida DiCarlo Calitri and the late Vito Calitri. She received her BS of Pharmacy from UCONN, and her MS in Hospital Administration from LIU. A registered pharmacist, she worked as a supervisor at Greenwich hospital for 15 years counseling countless patients and establishing policy and procedures. She went on to work at dozens of pharmacies in Fairfield County. Member of the 3rd Order of the SSPX, she was a devout Catholic her entire life. Devoted to her family, she would endure any hardship to do the right thing and bring about justice in every situation. Survivors include her mother Ida Calitri and her son John Burke both of Wilton, CT. A wake will be held Friday July 12, 2013, 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, New Canaan, CT 06840. Holy rosary will be said at 7:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday July 13, 2013 at 9:00am in Christ the King Church, 209 Tackora Trail, Ridgefield, CT. Interment will be immediately following in Lakeview Cemetery, New Canaan. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christ the King Church.
