John Holloway Obituary

John Holloway died on November 12, 2009 after a prolonged battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. John was born in Coraopolis, PA, On June 7th, 1927. He is survived by four sons, six grandchildren and his wife of sixty years, Signe Emma Holloway. John was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and the Korean War, as well as a lifelong member of the International Union of Bricklayers. He was a loving father, devoted husband, gardener, builder, and lover of all things that grew. He will be remembered as a fisherman, outdoorsman and a hardworking industrious man who always put the needs of his family before his own needs. He will be missed by his circle of friends, coworkers and loving family members in Michigan and Florida as well as here in Connecticut.
