Obituary of Sarah Gilroy
Sarah Anne Gilroy of New Canaan, a pharmacy technician, died Tuesday, Oct. 7. She was 33.
Born Aug. 2, 1981, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Stamford, she lived most of her life in New Canaan, graduating from NCHS in 1999. She worked as a pharmacy technician at the Westchester Medical Group.
Ms. Gilroy will be remembered for her warm and kind nature, her willingness to help a friend in need, and her sense of humor.
She was predeceased by both her maternal and paternal grandparents and her father, William Gilroy.
Ms. Gilroy is survived by her mother, Mary Qualey; her sister, Jennifer Bray and her husband Erik Bray of Brookfield and their daughters Alexis and Mackenzie; her brother, Will Gilroy of New Canaan; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
Services will be private. Sarah loved her dog, Lucy, so memorial donations in her name may be made to the ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929.
