Obituary of Rosalie Lato

Rosalie Mary Lato age 86, a longtime resident of Norwalk, died Saturday September 27, 2014 at Wilton Meadows Conv. Home with her loving family by her side. Born in Baltimore, MD ,March 4, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Carmela Liberatore DellaRose Rosalie was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1998. Rose enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing and cooking for her family especially Sunday dinners. She was a Baltimore Oriole fan. Rosalie is survived by her son, Frank Lato Jr (Cathy)of Vista, NY, five daughters, Frances Schulman (Michael)of Norwalk, Patricia Cimitile (Robert )of Norwalk, Maryann Mola (Bruce) of Lutz, FL, Carmela Maltese(Frank) of Easton, CTand Roseann Kade(Dennis) Shelton, CT, two sisters, Anna Berna and Norma Miller both of Maryland. Twelve grandchildren , Alyssa and Jeff Schulman, Cathy Conlon, Frank R. Lato, Robert and Matthew Cimitile,Kristina, Michele and John Mola, Michael and Dana Maltese and Brenden Kade. She was predeceased by her brothers, Anthony and Joseph Della Rose And sister Mary Chiancaglin A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10:00AM At St Matthews Church, 216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06854 with interment to follow in St Johns Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Hoyt Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, New Canaan, CT on Monday from 4 to 8 PM.
