Dear, David, Katie, Laurie, all of your family and Patti's best friends Karin & Amy -
I am so sorry for the loss of beautiful Patti.
I will forever cherish the memories of spending time together in Cape Cod. Bass River beach was our go-to place during the day, and Patrick, Billy & Katie swimming in the pool at the hotel was the closer. Little did the kids know while us grownups were sitting poolside or at the beach talking, they were forming a forever cousin's bond that is stronger today.
Patti's beautiful smile lit up a room. I can still hear her laugh when I said something funny to her. She would always say "Kaaaaren!" in the sweetest tone with that special twinkle in her beautiful blue eyes. We shared a lot. Our first pregnancies, living in the Hussey homestead homes right next to each other on Forest Street, tears when our parents died, secrets and a whole lot of laughing anytime we were around each other. Throw in cousin Susie and it really was a blast!
Rest in peace my dear Patti. I hope there is a lot of Chachki up in heaven and if there is, please save some for me! You represented another example of how God only takes the best and I understand why. All you ever did was spread kindness and love to each one of us, putting us first and yourself last. You didn't care if we were family or friend and you all made us feel loved. Thank you for that.
Patrick & Billy will always take care of Katie. Rest in Peace.
