This was news that broke my heart instantly. Pam will always be the one person I referred to as my mentor. I marveled at her professionalism, knowledge, love of family, and her ability to work with a variety of personalities and ability to always treat one person like the next. I left the Y in 2010 and upon numerous occasions contacted her needing her opinion about something or other. She made work fun by keeping the atmosphere light. We laughed everyday. Didn’t take much. And lastly, I will never forget her “Please?”. I’ll remember her forever.

My deepest sympathy for your dear loss. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Pam at several CT and USA Swimming meets. She was kind, dedicated, and an inspiration. She invited me to train officials at the Y several times and was always the consummate host, enthusiastic about growing our sport and officials teams. She will be missed beyond measure.

God bless the Libertiny and Bartolutti families as they begin to deal with the loss of their beloved Pam. She was a devoted wife, and a loving mother, sister, daughter and aunt. Her strong faith and belief in God carried her through the rigors of dealing with cancer and the losses of her parents and brother. I guess the good Lord decided she had suffered enough and brought her home. May God be with you Pam, and guide you on the next segment of your journey. Rest assured that your family and friends are here to support you and cheering you on as you move forward.
Much love ...

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. I only recently had the pleasure of meeting Pam at the Libertiny Qualifier. She was so kind to walk around and talk to all of the coaches and swimmers and that meant so much as i was still very much a new coach.
May the love and prayers of friends and family bring you peace and strength. I will remember Pam always.

My heartfelt condolences and prayers to Pam's family. She was kind enough to host a DZ baby shower in 1989 at her home for me before I gave birth to my daughter. She was such a wonderful person with so much heart. I always looked forward to seeing Pam at DZ alum meetings where she was always so thoughtful, kind and engaging. We will all miss her dearly. Judi
