Charles F. Broadhurst

1946 - 2024

Charles F Broadhurst, 77, a lifelong resident of Stamford and a proud Veteran (Corporal E-4) of the United States Marine Corps., recipient of the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, SEMPER FI, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024. He was born in Stamford on September 27, 1946 to the late William and Josephine Verrastro Broadhurst.

Charles loved his family, especially his three grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling to watch his grandson play baseball and just spending time with them. He also loved raising his three German Shepards - Major, General and Sargent.

Charles is survived by his wife, Marion Ienner Broadhurst, sons William, Matthew (Cindy) and Steven, three grandchildren, Ashley, Anthony and Kaylie, and a sister, Maryann Broadhurst Mennona (Anthony). He was predeceased by his parents William and Josephine Verrasto Broadhurst and a brother William Broadhurst. Charles will always be known as a patient and kind man, who gave support and love to all.

Interment will be Private.
