Marlene Margaret Socci – Tiani passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Stamford Hospital on November 8, 2023 at the age of 63, after a long 7 year battle with cancer. She was born in Stamford, CT on January 24, 1960 to Mario and Margaret Socci. Marlene was the beloved wife to the late Fredrick Phillip Tiani Jr.

Marlene was a resident of New Canaan for over 40 Years, many of which she spent working at both of Union Trust bank and South School in New Canaan. She loved to be around people and family. Whoever met Marlene always remembered her for her fun loving personality.

Marlene is survived by her Son Fredrick P. Tiani of New Canaan, CT and her Daughter Ginamarie (Tiani) and her husband Alex Golan of Darien, CT, her mother Margaret Socci of New Canaan and her three brothers Mario Socci Jr, of Redding, Joseph Socci of New Canaan and Anthony Socci of Seymour, as well as many other family members.

She was predeceased by her Husband, Fredrick P. Tiani Jr and her Father Mario Socci Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on November 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church 21 Cherry Street, New Canaan. A visitation will be held before the mass in the church from 10:00-10:50 a.m. The burial will follow the mass at Lakeview Cemetery.
