Although deeply saddened today, I am comforted by the loving and indelible memories of the many ways in which you have gently touched the lives of so many of us. May you joyfully bask in the glorious light of Heaven on this your first All Soul's Day among the angels
Rest In Peace Uncle Roy- you will forever remain in my prayers

I share only one aspect of Roy's personality, that of a sly joker. To his nephews: "are you going to the movies? - then why are you picking your seat". Whether it was offering chocolate-covered bees (undisclosed), demonstrating disappearing paper put in your drink or a bottle of tincture to color water to the appearance of scotch used at his many business cocktail obligations - he loved jokes and pranks always good naturedly. So much more of course but one very memorable aspect of this remarkable man :-)

Our dear, beloved Roy has left us feeling with heavy heart. He was such a classy guy with a most pleasant and witty personality. I am ever grateful to Roy and Barbara for being second parents to my 6 children. Their generosity of time and $’s was remarkable. Much credit to Barbara and Roy for my children’s success. R I P. We are lucky enough to have met Roy and Barbara through Janine, Doug, Morgan and Connor. Our kids grew up playing many sports together. Roy loved his family so much and was such a devoted father and grandfather. He was a frequent and passionate fan on the sidelines who rooted for our kids as much as he did his own grandchildren. He always had a twinkle in his eye, a smile on his face and maybe a sarcastic comment or two. Much love, the McLanes
